BKFC stars predict Friday's BKFC 42 Main Event

Hard-hitting lightweight contenders Tony “Loco” Soto (4-0) and Tyler “El Tornado” Goodjohn (4-2) meet in the Main Event of BKFC 42 on Friday in Greenville, SC, LIVE on The BKFC App.

We asked some of BKFC’s biggest stars their predictions as we count down the seconds until fight night.

Howard “HD” Davis: To be honest, I don't know. I feel like it's an even match all the way through. It'll be a draw because neither fighter will give an inch and the judges don't want to get a fight like that wrong.

Albert Inclan: Everything comes down to Round 4 and Round 5. Tyler has been through wars and will keep coming forward, so Tony needs to weather the storm and stay sharp. If he can stay sharp, he'll get the W.

JR “The Lion” Ridge: This is a very exciting fight – both fighters both have that dog in them. Both are talented, so it will come down to who wants it most. Going with Soto on this one.

Christian “The Terminator” Torres: I'm taking Tony, but they’re both great fighters. I feel Tony has a lot of momentum going into the fight and has been looking sharp, so I'm gonna go with him.

Steve “Tomahawk” Townsel: Tony is a good up-and-comer and has been on a real mission through his past few fights, but he has his hands full with Tyler. It will be an exciting fight, but “El Tornado” has evolved into something completely different and will smother Tony with pressure using angles and smooth head movement. With these guys I see nothing less than a war, but when the smoke clears Goodjohn will be the victor and will have put the division on notice.

Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren: This is an interesting match up. Goodjohn hasn’t had much luck in the win column since coming to BKFC, but he’s been fighting high-level opponents. Soto has been doing great, but his opponents have been on the newer side until now. I don’t think it’ll be easy for him, but I’m going with “Loco” to edge out the W with his consistent improvement.
