Tyler Randall ready to stake his claim as BKFC's best flyweight

Tyler Randall says there’s no telling how high the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship flyweight division will soar.

Randall should know. He’s a true pioneer of the now-bustling division, and is currently ranked No. 2 at 125 pounds.

“I think we’re going to see the division rise really quickly,” says Randall (2-1, 1 KO).

“When you take the gloves off at 125 pounds, not only are the fighters fast and able to take a lot of shots from each other, but if the right one lands, they’re getting put to sleep. In other sports you’re not seeing knockouts in these lighter weight classes. But at 125 pounds in BKFC, not only do you see fast movement, fast reactions and counters, you’re still seeing top-level knockouts too.”

Randall is eager to add another highlight-reel knockout to his resume when he battles Chancey "Superfly" Wilson (2-2, 1 KO) at BKFC 38 on April 21 in Hollywood, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Randall isn’t looking past Wilson, but he has a clear image of himself becoming the first ever BKFC World Men's Flyweight Champion in 2023. According to the New York-born Fort Myers, FL fighter, his path to the title must go through John Dodson, the former UFC title challenger who’s looked unstoppable in his first two BKFC fights.

“I really see myself taking out John Dodson and cementing my legacy in the division as the first Flyweight Champion in BKFC history,” Randall says.

“I’m ready to fight anyone at any time,” he adds. “It would be a blessing to go out there, knock my opponent out, have fun and put on a good show for the crowd, then move forward and entertain everyone by putting my hands on John Dodson. There’s nobody in the division who has my size, my power and can take a shot like me.”
