Ellis Shepherd is rising quickly in the world of BK fighting and has become known for his relentless style and solid technique. Hailing from England, Ellis discovered his passion for combat sports at a young age. He was in the right place at the right time for his first ever title opportunity against Gary Fox after Fox’s original opponent, John Hick fell through. Expect high volume and speed when Shepherd throws down!
Out of the Squared Circle, Ellis is known for his humility and dedication to his craft. His energy gained the stamp of approval from Mike Perry and in this sport, that alone goes a long way. He puts in the work training tirelessly, constantly seeking to refine his weapons. Shepherd is very passionate about his loved ones, big dogs and above everything else, he credits everything he has to God. He also seems to have a new tattoo everytime he toes the line.
As he climbs the ranks of BKFC, Ellis Shepherd remains focused on his ultimate goal: to become a champion and leave a lasting legacy in the world of combat sports. With his passion, talent, and relentless work ethic, there's no doubt that he's destined for greatness in the Squared Circle.
About Us
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is the first promotion allowed to hold a legal, sanctioned, and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889.
Based in Philadelphia, and headed by President and former professional boxer David Feldman, BKFC is dedicated to preserving the historical legacy of bare knuckle fighting, while utilizing a specifically created rule set that emphasizes fighter safety. More »
Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
