Daniel Pettit is an American bare-knuckle fighter, born and raised in Southern California. He had a very rough upbringing which helped him become the bare-knuckle fighter he is today. Pettit had no choice but to conform to his surroundings to survive, so fighting was just part of life.
Pettit was an allstar athlete growing up playing baseball and getting his formal combat experience start in wrestling. He always knew his purpose was to be a professional athlete.
Pettit, now fighting out of Manchester CT, at Manchester Rocs Boxing gym is a tower climber by day. He climbs 300 ft towers everyday which helps with the pressure of the bright lights and his nickname pays homage to that career.
Pettit is one of the original fans of BKFC, having watched BKFC 1 back in 2018. It was at this point when he decided to begin training the very next day in hopes that he would find a spot on the roster of the fastest growing combat sporting promotion of the world. He has reached that goal and has moved on to looking towards the top of the featherweight Division.
His wife Amy Mora is his Head Trainer and Manager, and the two have worked very hard to make Pettit’s dream a reality. Pettit’s fight journey has been a family and team effort since day one. ”Without Amy I wouldn’t be able to climb and fight. She not only supports everything I choose to do, she helps me do it!”
