Stanislav Grosu hails from Moldova which has, as a country, grown its footprint in the fighting world over recent years. Representing his country with pride, Grosu leaves it all in the Squared Circle every single time he steps inside it. Before making his BKFC debut in December, 2021, the middleweight had a brief run on the regional Romanian MMA scene before removing the gloves.
Grosu has faced solid competition with his first performance pairing him up against the current middleweight champion, David Mundell. He came up just short there but managed to take Mundell the distance which is no easy task. In his following four bouts, Grosu went 3-1 beating BK veterans like Anthony Lacaze and Christian Torres. He has made it clear he wants to fight his way into the rankings and aims for the top of 175.
The Virginia-based Moldovan is a family man and dedicated competitor but he enjoys the simpler things in life when he’s not outworking everyone in the gym. He’ll indulge in an adult beverage every now and then and feed his sweet tooth when he’s not in fight camp. He also spends every chance he gets with his two young children and his wife who he has known since they were kids.
