Paul Cook is a British mixed martial artist and bare-knuckle fighter representing his hometown of Hebburn. He made the switch to bare-knuckle after a successful MMA run of 15-7. During that time, he reached champion status in the lightweight division on a UK regional scene. Cook built a reputation as a finisher, dangerous both on the feet and on the ground so he holds a very well-rounded style for BKFC.
In the Squared Circle, Cook has carried over that well roundedness and demonstrates excellent striking, both at distance and in the clinch. When the fight extends into the later rounds, Cook tends to outthrow and land his opponent with high accuracy. We have also seen true knockout power in his promotional debut.
Paul Cook’s social media shows a bit of an evolution in his mindset and dedication to the game. He used to show a lot more of himself outside of the gym, enjoying beers with the lads and relaxing. Now, it’s all flooded with gym and fight pictures. He’s committed to achieving gold in another sport and on his current streak, it would be hard to imagine him not getting ranked and eventually getting a shot.
