Mike ‘The Marine’ Richman is a combat sports veteran crossing over to BK from the MMA world. He holds a professional MMA record of 18-8-0 with wins in Bellator and various other promotions. He fought on the midwest regional scene before making it to the big leagues and eventually finding himself taking off the gloves and toeing the line against some of the BKFC’s baddest! He gave Lorenzo Hunt a run for his money in their light heavyweight title fight headlining KnuckleMania III. Richman became the interim light heavyweight champ after defeating Isaac Doolittle at BKFC 31.

As his nickname would hint towards, Richman served his country in the Marines as a Sergeant and did three tours in Iraq. Spending time in some of the most dangerous scenarios one can find themself in, has given Richman an incredibly stoic resolve when he’s in the Squared Circle. His facial expressions say “just another day in the office,” and he proceeds to unleash chaos onto his opponent. He looked unbeatable until he faced Lorenzo Hunt who he had hurt badly before suffering his first ever BKFC knockout loss.

After a brief retirement, Richman returned to headline BKFC Clearwater against Erick Lozano at light heavyweight. Hopefully this future BKFC hall-of-famer will stick around and continue putting on memorable performances for years to come.
