Chicago's own Derrick Findley is an American boxer with an extensive 67 fight-experience level and a career dating back to 2005. Findley has never been one of the more traditional boxers who pad their records until they can get to some serious prize fights, he fights anyone. With the modern influence on boxing, where a fighter has to remain undefeated for as long as possible to gain the most hype, a 37-30-1 record doesn’t jump off the page but it’s actually very impressive.
Out of those 37 wins, 25 of them came by T/KO and out of the 30 losses, only five times Findley was finished. The power, precision and technicality are there and he has a bit of experience in the BKFC Squared Circle as well. Having fought some solid names like Jake Lindsey and Kaleb Harris, Findley has fought near the top of the welterweight division since day one.
Expect some lower volume but higher accuracy with a bit of a counter-punching style. Findley will bring the pressure when the opportunity presents itself and start a lot of his combinations with his sharp jab as most technical boxers do.
Findley fights out of Merrilville, Indiana.
