BKFC Fight Night Mexico
May 25 2024 |
Román Córdova got his start in amateur MMA back in 2018 in his home country of Mexico. He turned pro in 2020 and has accumulated a record of 12-16 in just four years before debuting in the BKFC. That’s an average of seven fights a year where most fighters do three or four max. The guy has been active and with nearly half of his wins coming by knockout and never being knocked out himself, we welcome him into the BKFC!
With a striking heavy style, Córdova has struggled opn the ground with a majority of his losses coming by submission so he won’t have to worry about that here and he can let his hands fly.
Córdova is quite spiritual and very aware that he has one go at life and looks to make the most of it. As a martial artist, he is very aware of the risks the practice brings and he embraces the danger and violence. He focuses on improving his skills over beating other people in fights, and that ideology tends to create some of the best martial artists in history.
