BK Record: 2-1-0 (Win-Loss-Draw)
Devin Gibson fights out of Ontario, Canada and has proven to be a threat in the flyweight division. Entering the BKFC for his professional fighting debut, the technical striker scored back to back wins while throwing less than both opponents. He then upped the level of competition against the always tough Albert Inclan and managed to take him all five rounds for a decision loss.
He holds a ton of Canadian pride as one of the few fighters on the roster from the Great White North. A few things that stand out within “The Canadian Assassin’s” style is his better than average gas tank and his unorthodox style. Throughout every bout, Gibson bounces in and out with a wide stance and utilizes twitchy head/hand movement. Combining a lot of movement with careful shot selection, he often finds his opponents in less than favorable positions and can knock them off balance easily with his solid right cross.
Gibson is very humble and respectful of his opponents but is far from opposed to some pre-match smack talk as he engaged in with Inclan before BKFC 35.
The Canadian prospect is one to keep your eyes on and with his goals of becoming the first ever Canadian BKFC champion still in place, any opponent is just the next stepping stone in his eyes. Devin Gibson, along with fellow countrywoman Jade Masson-Wong make history holding main and co-main slots in the first ever Canadian BKFC event.
