Parker Porter has been a professional mixed martial artist since 2007 making his debut in the New England promotion, Combat Zone. During his rise to eventually land in the UFC, Porter faced the likes of Gabriel Gonzaga, Chase Sherman, Jailton Almeida, Braxton Smith and even Jon Jones early in his career. Once at the UFC level, he continued to show a high level of talent and the willingness to fight anyone put in front of him.
With a record of 14-9, The New Englander clearly has experience and as a veteran of MMA, he’s a welcomed addition to the BKFC roster. He’s also the definition of well-rounded having a near even split of T/KOs, submission and decision wins in MMA, but in BKFC it’s all hands! Expect some measuring of his opponent early on, but once his reads are made he will move forward and welcome a firefight in the Squared Circle.
Outside of his professional career, Porter is the owner of Hardhitters Gym, an MMA and fitness gym in New Britain, CT. He’s a proud father, dedicated husband and dog lover, and spends a lot of time with his family outdoors when he isn’t training himself or others.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
