Jared Lennon made his professional combat sports debut at BKFC’s Mohegan Sun event in February of 2025. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Lennon began training boxing at an early age through his relationship with the Ramalho family. Arthur Ramalho is considered by most to be the patriarch of the boxing community in Lowell and organized the New England Golden Gloves every year. His gym, Ramalho’s West End Boxing Gym is where Lennon learned how to box as a kid.
Lennon began boxing as an amateur at age 14 and competed in the Silver Mittens. He continued training and boxing until he turned 18 and joined the Marines where he finished his enlistment there as a Corporal. After his time in the armed forces, Lennon continued training and found a passion for Muay Thai. His most recent fight before BKFC was an amateur kickboxing bout in Combat Zone.
In Lennon’s personal life, he is a father and an electrician by day. He actually had to grow up fast because he had his first kid at 17. That resilience and dedication helps make him a better fighter, able to face adversity and grind when things don’t go perfect. Simply said, there’s zero quit in the Bay Stater!
Jared Lennon initially tried to join BKFC through the tryout sessions but with a scheduling conflict, he ended up walking into Rick Hawn’s gym by happenstance. He now trains with Hawn and Lennon feels it’s destiny that brought him into the Squared Circle. “I have my whole life to be an electrician, but the window for professional fighting is a short one,” Lennon said on his fighting career.
