Pro MMA Record: 4-4-0 (Win-Loss-Draw)
Josh ‘D Day’ Dyer started his combat sports career in MMA and he holds a professional record of 4-4. He had a solid amateur run as well having faced some tough dudes on the South Dakota regional scene like the UFC veteran Devin Clark.
Dyer’s only loss to date was delivered by one of the greatest to ever do it, Lorenzo Hunt. He does need to harness that aggression a bit more to string some wins together as he has two back to back no contests due to a head butt and a strike after the bell. Negatives aside, Dyer is truly a dangerous fighter and rarely do we see someone as dangerous as they are skilled, we have that in ‘D Day.’ Even with Lorenzo Hunt, he fought competitively and was finished in the fifth round after having his moments. He’s scored knockouts in the first and fifth round proving he remains dangerous from bell to bell and he holds a win over the current champion of his division in Jared Warren.
Expect a title challenge for Dyer soon after some winning performances. *He has a tall task ahead of him at BKFC 63 Sturgis with William Albrecht but should he pass, he has a solid case for a championship fight.
