Juan 'The Kraken' Adams in an MMA veteran but breaks into the world of bare-knuckle on the Prospect Series Albuquerque card. He spent some time in the UFC after defeating Shawn Teed in the Contender Series by way of TKO in round one. Before making it to MMA's biggest stage, he fought for the LFA and after exiting the UFC he fought for the PFL and Fury FC. He holds a 10-6 record over a six-year career and really looked to be a problem coming up in the heavyweight division. He hit a few rough patches after fighting hard hitters like Justin Tafa and Greg Hardy but dropping the gloves could prove to be a solid career move.
80% of those 10 MMA wins have come by way of T/KO but 83% of his losses have come by the same. Needless to say, Adams is a "kill or be killed" fighter who welcomes a gritty slugfest over a technical chess match. In other words, his style is a perfect fit for the BKFC!
Adams connects with his supporters and fans in a number of ways. From running his new podcast to passing on motivational messages to just making himself relatable. He shares past experiences both good and bad and shows the progress he's made in his life from being a kid who felt insecure, to growing into a talented fighter with followers all around the world. He's done something that many of us strive to achieve in working over time to get to a position where he is able to do what he loves for a living.
The heavyweight division may very well have a new prospect on its hands in "The Kraken"
