BKFC 58 BULGARIA
Mar 22 2024 |
The Bulgarian, Nikolay Aleksiev is a tank of a man. He’s not the tallest heavyweight but the MMA fighter has gone toe to toe with the legendary Rosen Dimitrov and Veselin Ivanov, both of whom are on the BKFC roster. Aleksiev has fallen on some hard times record-wise hitting a seven-fight losing streak before taking a break, sharpening his skills and reentering the combat world.
Nikolay Aleksiev faced Mehdi Barghi in his debut at the second ever BKFC fight card in his home country. Despite his recent struggle, Aleksiev is very dangerous with heavy hands and quick movement for a heavyweight. He’s been a professional fighter since 2008 and holds a 13-14-1 record as he entered the BKFC for the first time.
Aleksiev is a family man who enjoys relaxing when he’s not training or fighting. He cuts hair and likes a good cigar when he’s not in camp. He will have explosive movement on fight night because of his powerlifting and intense training methods but he really knows how to slow life down and enjoy the little things.
