The five time Ring of Combat champion, Phil Caracappa is a professional mixed martial artist fighting out of New Jersey. He ran up an undefeated record of 7-0 before facing Ricky Steele on the Contender Series and lost via split decision. The loss was a major upset for him personally, but he put his head down, got back to work and continues to fight higher levels of competition and improve.
Since then, Caracappa has fought in the PFL and CFFC but now eyes a new sport that he feels plays very well into his striking skillset. You will see a high level of technicality in strikes and an ability to push a pace for all 10 minutes if need be. A majority of his MMA wins have come by decision and his well-roundedness will be a problem for anyone he toes the line against.
Caracappa spends a lot of time with his family and says he is surrounded by love and blessings. We are getting to see Caracappa in his fighting prime and with a skillset like his, you can expect big things from the crafty MMA veteran in the bantamweight division.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
