Born in Cape Verde off the west coast of Africa, Yorgan De Castro has fought to a high level in MMA and continues to challenge himself within combat sports by taking off the gloves and entering BKFC. He’s faced the likes of Greg Hardy, William Knight, Justin Tafa and more.
De Castro entered the UFC through the Contender Series in 2019 after defeating Alton Meeks via TKO. Upon his BKFC debut, De Castro is the Cage Titans heavyweight champion and he’s earned additional belts in CES MMA and New England Fights. You may have also seen him fight in the PFL where he has two fights in the promotion.
‘The Mad Titan’ is a family man who fights for his kids’ future. After relocating to Massachusetts to pursue his dream of becoming an MMA world champion and now multisport champion, the sky is the limit for the dedicated fighter!

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) is the first promotion allowed to hold a legal, sanctioned, and regulated bare knuckle event in the United States since 1889.
Based in Philadelphia, and headed by President and former professional boxer David Feldman, BKFC is dedicated to preserving the historical legacy of bare knuckle fighting, while utilizing a specifically created rule set that emphasizes fighter safety. More »
Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
