Christine Vicens broke onto the BKFC scene back at KnuckleMania 2 in February of 2022 and after two dominant wins was ranked fourth in the women's flyweight division. She handed Jade Wong her first loss with a knockout and dominated Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger later that same year and has since taken a hiatus to improve her striking and clinch work even more.
Vicens has a bully style where she will walk through her opponent's best punches and back them up to the ropes or meet them in the middle to clinch up. With an orthodox stance, she throws her right hand with nasty intentions while also implementing textbook head movement. Her favorite punch seems to be her right cross which she lands at a solid clip. No woman is safe at distance or up close against Vicens and standing in the pocket against someone with hands like hers is a big no no.
125 sure seems to have a dangerous contender here and already being in the rankings after two fights, there is a short path to get a chance at a title. If Vicens was more active she could at worst be the number one contender. If she wants it, look for Vicens to be in a title fight before the end of 2024 and a matchup against Christine Ferea would be extra violent.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
