BKFC NEWCASTLE: TERRILL vs BANKS
Nov 26 2022 |
Melanie Shah is proudly the first ever woman from the UK to fight in both e the US and UK and also the first UK woman to ever appear in a BKFC main event. She did so back at BKFC 51 where she faced Britain Hart. Shah fell short that evening to take her first loss but she proved that she will never quit on herself and if Britain Hart can’t put her out, it’s a tall task for any woman to do so at 115. Her toughness can not be mentioned enough..
To date all of her fights have gone the distance but she is usually very much in the driver’s seat from bell to bell as she was against Sydney Smith and Mathilda Wilson. With that drowning, pressure-heavy style, Shah is high volume and mostly head hunts with her strikes. Simply put, if she can be accurate with her punches, she wins as she has shown to have over 50% accuracy when she is victorious.
Shah is a mother to three kids and a wife to a husband who helps her train and push her to her limits. The quality of her character is apparent whenever you see her speak in interviews. She always has a smile on her face and thinks carefully about what she says. The BKFC has a solid contender and human being fighting in a competitive strawweight division.
