Abdiel Velazquez is a Puerto Rican mixed martial artist turned bare-knuckle fighter with a come forward and bang style. He’s had a very active professional career, having fought multiple times a year since 2014. He’s gone to war with Travis Thompson, Johnny Bedford and Reggie Barnett Jr. Velazquez made his debut at BKFC 3 against Shawn West who he knocked out in the very first round.
The southpaw fights smart but loves a good brawl and no matter what happens in the Squared Circle, he has fun and so do the fans! Velazquez is a father of two young boys and a husband to his wife Nicole. He also likes to promote small, local businesses and partners with many on his fight nights. In and out of the gym, the guy is a hard worker and we are lucky to get to see high level performances from an OG in the BKFC!

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
