Elvin Leon Brito or ‘El Bandito’ as he goes by in the Squared Circle is a BKFC OG who made his first appearance on BKFC 3. The sport and the promotion has come a long way since then and so has Brito. ‘El Bandito’ became the first ever BKFC welterweight champion after he defeated Kaleb Harris in a back and forth war that went to split decision. Brito is very proud to be the first Puerto Rican BKFC fighter and first Puerto Rican champion.

His skills have gotten the attention of Lorenzo Hunt, one of the best to ever do it, and they train together out of Puerto Rico by conventional and unconventional methods alike. Brito is a shorter fighter for his welterweight division so his striking has evolved to capitalize on his strengths which are speed and technique. He often looks to feel out his opponent for a round or two and then out point and damage them before the final bell.

Living in a scenic and tropical area of the world, the counter striker trains a lot outside and when he isn’t training he is enjoying his surroundings. Lots of hikes and swims are part of daily life and he’s remained focussed on the game even after reaching the highest highs in the sport.

Brito also holds a professional mixed martial arts record of 9-9-0.
