Elvin “El Bandido” Brito is ready to steal the show this week at BKFC’s first event of 2025.
On Saturday, he’ll enter the Squared Circle for the 12th time to take on Evgeny Kurdanov in the BKFC Pechanga headliner at the legendary Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
In January of 2022, Brito immortalized himself in the record books as the first World Welterweight Champion in BKFC history. Three years later, he’s hungrier than ever in his quest to reclaim the crown in one of the organization’s deepest weight classes.
“I can’t wait for Saturday. First Main Event of the year; my comeback fight against a very tough opponent in enemy territory,” the fan-favorite Brito says.
“We’re going to go out there and get the win. It’s going to be awesome. I can’t think of a better way to start the year.”
Few fighters in BKFC history are as accomplished as the former World Champion Brito. Few athletes have done more to help launch BKFC as the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion. But as Brito will tell you, he’s just warming up.
“I’m working on another masterpiece for this weekend. I want to put on a beautiful performance and show people that I’m still one of the best in the sport and I’m only getting better,” Brito says.
“I won’t be satisfied with anything less than another masterpiece in Temecula, because there’s a lot that I’ve got to accomplish this year.”
