Rosalinda ‘Venom’ Rodriguez is an American boxer who earned a 13-0-0 professional record before stepping into the BKFC’s Squared Circle. She made her debut at the first ever Prospect Series which has become a massive tool for the promotion in finding emerging talent in a new sport. Rodriguez embodies what a fighter should aspire to be. With skill and toughness both mentally and physically, she has all of the makings to be a future contender and possible champion.
Look for tight, technical punches to come from the Chicago-born flyweight along with far above average accuracy. In her debut performance, she threw over 300 punches and landed almost 70% of them. Volume, speed and accuracy spell out bad news for anyone standing opposite of her in any ring.
To go back to her mental toughness, Rodriguez faced some serious personal adversity before her dominant debut performance. She was very open about the hardships she had experienced and she allowed the events to motivate her even further to accomplish greatness. Her house had burned down which destroyed all of her belongings and a week later her beloved mother passed away leaving Rodriguez broken. She picked up the pieces from the two traumatic events and proceeded to stake her claim at 125. Look for near perfection when Venom throws hands in the Squared Circle.

Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
