Monica ‘Fearless’ Franco is an American mixed martial artist fighting out of Honolulu, Hawaii. She embodies the Hawaiian fighting spirit that these fighters have become known for following the likes of BJ Penn and Max Holloway. Franco spent time in Invicta which is the premier women’s MMA league. It’s produced fighters like Erin Blanchfield, Miranda Maverick and Rose Namajunas.
Franco holds a professional MMA record of 2-1-0 against a solid level of competition but struggled in her amateur days. It’s worth noting that her only professional MMA loss was delivered by submission and with fights staying on the feet, she’s dangerous. ‘Fearless’ debuted in the Squared Circle back at BKFC 50 where she inched out a split decision win against Khotrni Kameron.
Look for Franco to use her willpower, toughness and technical boxing skills to make every fight she’s in very tough for her opponent. Rules
Fighters are permitted to wrap and tape the wrist, thumb, and mid-hand. No gauze or tape can be within 1 inch of the knuckles.
Fighters will “Toe The Line” There are two lines, three feet apart, in the center of the ring where the fighters will start each round. The front foot will be on the line, and then the referee will instruct the fighters to “Knuckle Up” this means the beginning of the round/bout. More »
