Pro MMA Record: 19-9-0, 1 NC (Win-Loss-Draw)
Robbie 'Problems' Peralta jumped right into the MMA world in 2007 fighting seven times in just 10 months earning a respectable 5-2 record. As he continued graduating to larger promotions, Peralta amassed a 19-9 record through 2018 until he decided to drop the gloves and enter the world of bare-knuckle.
Fighting formidable opponents in his UFC days including Thiago Tavares and Clay Guida has primed Peralta for what has been an impressive bare-knuckle run despite only having three total BK fights. It has been three up and three down for 'Problems' as he has shown an impressive ability to stay elusive in the Squared Circle while maintaining a sizable edge against his competition. When he spent time in the California based Gladiator Challenge, he became a double champ before moving to Strikeforce and causing an upset over Hiroyuki Takaya.
People often falsely blanket all bare-knuckle fighters as brawlers, but watching the San Diego native throw down helps to prove otherwise. Despite being known for possessing deceiving power in his MMA days and gaining 68% of his wins by T/KO, Peralta has been taking a relatively more conservative approach in his new BK career. His "death by 1,000 cuts" style has him out-throwing his opponents and he's got the cardio to give anyone a long day at the office.
Robbie Peralta has three daughters who he has begun guiding into the world of martial arts through Brazilian jiu-jitsu at early ages. This is natural for Peralta as he began training taekwondo at age five. He also has a passion for baseball and leans into his Native American and Latino heritage with a focus on family, friends and community.
