‘Slick’ Rick Caruso cut his teeth in the world of combat sports through mixed martial arts back in 2011 where he debuted as an amateur. In the BKFC, Caruso has faced a tough level of competition but he never says no and never looks for easy matchups.
Arguably his greatest performance to date was in a loss to the high level contender Ryan Reber where he doubled up Reber on strikes landed, a feat not done by many. Caruso will prefer a fight from distance where he throws a wide majority of his punches and will maintain a smart approach and not just rush into the pocket.
Rick Caruso is a father and husband. He and his wife keep their kids busy with all kinds of sports and activities. He’s also a blue collar worker running a flooring company. Lastly, Caruso is of Puerto Rican descent and proudly represents it in and outside of the Squared Circle.
