Braxton “The Beautiful Monster” Smith is ready to rumble in his second trip to the BKFC Squared Circle.
Many fighters compete just once for BKFC. For whatever reason, the sport just isn’t for them.
That’s definitely not the case for Smith, who returns to action against Manuel Otero (1-0) at BKFC Fight Night: Albuquerque on Feb. 28 at the famed Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“BKFC is the fastest sport that I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve played rugby, football, I fought in the UFC. They don’t come close to BKFC. I’m not surprised that this is the fastest growing sport on the planet right now,” the San Antonio, TX fighter says.
“I love the promotion, and I’m a competitor,” he adds. “I’m a warrior, and I like competing, so that’s why I’m back.”
Smith logged a stoppage victory in his BKFC debut against Alex Davis at BKFC 69 in December. He sees another finish waiting for him in New Mexico.
“I’m going to win by knockout,” he says with a smile.
“I’m in great shape, I’m going to enforce my will in there, and I’m going to have my hand raised.”
Smith wants to be one of BKFC’s busiest men in 2025.
“I’d love to fight six times this year,” he says. “I want to keep fighting, moving up the rankings, and working my way to the belt.”
