Bryan “El Gallo” Duran sees the BKFC World Featherweight Title belt around his waist in 2025.
After Duran recently returned to the win column at BKFC on DAZN: Hollywood, the Cuban-born Miami product has his sights fixed on the only man to defeat him in the Squared Circle — undefeated BKFC World Featherweight Champion “King” Kai Stewart.
“I’m going to knock him out. I’m going to put him out, just like I do with everybody else,” Duran says when asked how a rematch with Stewart would play out in 2025.
“Now that I’ve got my right arm healthy, I feel like Robocop,” he adds with a laugh. “I’ve never, ever been this healthy in my career. I’ve always fought with an injured shoulder, but I’m finally healthy now.”
Duran is now 7-1 with seven stoppage victories following his first-round KO over Kasim Ruffin at the sold-out Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.
Duran hopes he’s next in line for another shot at the title, but he’d be more than happy for another crack at Stewart, even if the belt wasn’t at stake.
“I’ve gotta get my rematch, no matter what,” Duran says.
“I know that’s what the fans want, and it’s what I want too. The only reason I lost the first fight was because of my injury, and I’m going to prove that he’s not on my level.”
