Carlos Trinidad-Snake is getting what he asked for.

The undefeated Omaha, NE fighter will get the next shot at BKFC World Welterweight Champion Austin “No Doubt” Trout. They’ll do battle in the Main Event of the first night of BKFC’s historic, two-event premiere in Dubai on April 4-5, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.

The 28-year-old Trinidad-Snake is undefeated in six trips to the Squared Circle since his successful BKFC debut in 2021. Four of his wins have come by stoppage; he’ll be hunting for his third straight finish against the unbeaten Trout.

“I couldn’t be happier,” Trinidad-Snake says on the eve of his potential superstar-making moment.

“I love that this fight is in Dubai. I’m excited to showcase all the work that we’ve been putting in on such a massive stage.”

Trinidad-Snake sees his showdown with Trout as a passing-of-the-torch moment for the future of the stacked BKFC welterweight division.

“To be a World Champion, you’ve got to take out a World Champion, and that’s what I’m prepared to do,” he says. “I believe I’m the best in the world at 165, and this is my chance to prove it.”

His prediction for fight night?

“Austin throws 1,000 jabs and he likes to cut his opponent. He’s not a hard hitter, so I’m not worried about his power. He’ll try to stay long and elusive,” he says.

“But I’m going to expose him.”

Trinidad-Snake’s long road to BKFC gold will make it even sweeter to have the belt around his waist in Dubai.

“The belt solidifies everything that I set out to accomplish when I first signed with BKFC,” he says. “I said I’d be a World Champion when I started in this sport. I’m going to prove that I was right, and this is going to be another finishing piece of the puzzle.”
