Gabrielle Roman has done it all in the Squared Circle.
Each of the Perth Amboy, NJ fighter’s first three BKFC bouts have ended in different outcomes – a win, a loss and a draw.
Roman is grateful for the experience, but she already sees the outcome of her battle with Natalie Gage at BKFC on DAZN: Montana on Saturday.
“It’s going to be a win,” Roman says ahead of her clash with Gage at First Interstate Arena in Billings, MT, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.
“I’m not underestimating my opponent – I know it’s not going to be easy. But I’m going to go in there with everything that I’ve been learning. I’m going to use everything that God put in me to use, and I’m going to do my best to get the win.”
Roman is eager to get back to her winning ways after being stopped in the first round of her most recent fight against Jade Masson-Wong in March. Masson-Wong earned a shot at BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Champion Christine Ferea after her victory over Roman, but Roman isn’t bitter.
“That was a blessing in disguise,” she says.
“I’m grateful for the experience – every fight is a learning experience, and that fight put me in a much better position to win this one.”
Waiting has been the hardest part for Roman, who enters Saturday’s action as the No. 5 contender in the bustling BKFC women’s flyweight division.
“I’m dying to get back in there,” she says. “It’s been so hard to be patient.”
