The vacant BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Title is on the line Friday in the most highly anticipated rematch in recent memory at BKFC 62 in Hollywood, FL. We asked some of the brightest fighters on the BKFC roster if they think Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren will go 2-0 against JoMi Escoboza, or if “The Archangel” will get his redemption on fight night, LIVE on The BKFC App.
James "Get Down" Brown: Jared Warren versus JoMi Escoboza, the rematch. This is a tough pick for me, but I'm going with JoMi Escoboza by split decision.
Noah Cutter: I think Jared Warren wins in the rematch.
Ramiro Figueroa: This is a tough one to call. Both fighters have faced each other before, and Escoboza’s only loss is against Warren. Fights like this are always hard to judge because once you lose to another fighter, and you get a chance to fight again, you become hungrier and more determined to beat the person who defeated you. Additionally, Warren has taken a loss to Isaac Doolittle, while Escoba has emerged victorious against him. So, in my opinion, it's a 50-50 fight, but I lean more towards Escoboza pulling off the victory. I believe he will be ready to avenge his only loss and beat the guy who defeated him previously.
Josh “The Hellboy” Huber: I'm picking Escoboza because they have a common opponent in Doolittle. Escoboza beat him by KO and Warren lost to him by decision.
Blake “Big Boy” LaCaze: I like both men and respect them both. But I’m Team Slaughterhouse always. JoMi, the new BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Champion!
“Royal” Ryan Reber: This is going to be a tough one – I really like both guys.
Wanya “The Rated R Superstar” Reid: I’m going with JoMi Escoboza. My guy is coming for revenge.
JR “The Lion” Ridge: Going with the home team, Jared Warren. Five-round battle, with Jared winning by decision.
Esteban “Mohawk” Rodriguez: I believe JoMi Escoboza will be the one with his hand raised, with dominating forward pressure.
Gabrielle “Jersey’s Warrior Princess” Roman: I’m going with Escoboza.
Tommy “The Farmer” Strydom: I think Jared Warren is going to beat him again. I'm going with Warren.
