Jay Jackson is doing a lot more than soaking up the sun in Puerto Rico.
Jackson is hard at work at his “annual Jungle Camp” in Maunabo with former BKFC World Champion Elvin Brito.
“Working out here has been great. We’re training five days a week and getting our roadwork in on mountains and on the beach,” Jackson says.
“I’m a student of the game, consistently learning and trying new things every day,” he adds. “I love bare knuckle fighting, and I’m looking forward to what’s next.”
Next up for Jackson is his eighth trip to the BKFC Squared Circle. He takes on Kyle McElroy at BKFC Fight Night: Albuquerque on Feb. 28 at the famed Kiva Auditorium in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“Winning this fight means everything to me,” he says. “Winning this next fight will lead me back on track to the BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Championship.”
Jackson doesn’t just fight for himself — he fights for the fans.
“I’m here to be entertaining and to be the best influence that I can be,” the Bay City, MI product says. “I’m not perfect at all, but I do want to keep the fans glued to the show, and I’d love to be one of the reasons why they tune into BKFC.”
