Jonathan Miller is ready to smash his way back into the BKFC win column.
The heavy-handed Pensacola, FL fighter is eager to turn the page on his first career loss when he returns to action at BKFC Prospect Series on Aug. 31 at the world-class River Cree Resort & Casino in Edmonton, AB, Canada, LIVE globally on The BKFC App.
“That loss lit a fire underneath my (expletive),” Miller says, referencing his defeat to Sawyer Depee at BKFC 53 in November.
“Everybody always talks about getting the title – and I will get there too – but first I want to redeem my loss. That’s extremely important to me. I want my rematch with Sawyer Depee on my way to the belt.”
But first, Miller returns to the Squared Circle in Canada against the debuting Bohdan Kotok in heavyweight action. Miller is healthy for the first time in a long time and has been working hard in anticipation of his first business trip outside of the United States.
“Two opponents have backed out of fighting me on this card, so I don’t know much about my opponent. But that doesn’t matter,” Miller says.
“At the end of the day, I’m just going to go in there and do my job – I’m going to take him out.”
