Justin “The Nightmare” Street has a simple response for why he’s preparing for a return to the BKFC Squared Circle.
“The love of the sport,” the 31-year-old Livonia, MI fighter says with a smile.
Street has been boxing for most of his life and has had nearly a dozen professional MMA bouts. But for him, there’s nothing like BKFC.
“This is where I belong,” he says.
“I’ve always been a grinder and a brawler that’s always coming forward, always in your face. To now be able to do that three feet in front of the person, with us both toeing the line, it’s a dream come true.”
Street is counting down the seconds until Friday night, when he’ll try to smash his way to 2-0 under the BKFC banner against Justin Ibarrola at BKFC 66 at the legendary Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App. Ibarrola is undefeated in his first four fights and is the No. 3 contender in the stacked BKFC bantamweight division.
“This is a massive opportunity, and I’m truly blessed,” Street says.
“Winning this fight is going to change my life massively. I’m somebody who just grinds day in and day out to provide for my family, and this opportunity is going to do wonders for my career.
“This is my time.”
