Nate “Mayhem” Maness is an accomplished MMA fighter, but he has BKFC in his DNA.
On Friday at BKFC 69, the seven-time UFC vet was victorious via TKO in his highly anticipated bare knuckle fighting debut against Nick Burgos at the sold-out Gas South Arena in Atlanta, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“BKFC offered me the most money when I left the UFC, and this is something that I thought I’ve already been doing in MMA — walking forward, throwing hands and trying to be exciting for the fans,” the hard-hitting Henderson, KY product says.
“I feel like BKFC is the perfect match for me. I’m excited to be here.”
However, Maness isn’t just happy to be here. His goal is to dominate.
“I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibilities that I win the belts in the flyweight and bantamweight divisions. That’s what I’m reaching for,” he says.
“I like exciting matchups and feeling the energy from the crowd, so I’m ready for anything BKFC has to offer. I want to be a company man. Get in there, throw hands and be exciting.
“I’m here for all of it.”
