There’s no denying that 3-0 is an important milestone in the career of a BKFC fighter.
At that point it starts to become clear whether or not a combatant has what it takes to someday be in title contention.
Dameko “Lotto” Labon is ready to rise to the occasion and smash his way to 3-0 with a third straight, first-round finish in the Squared Circle on Friday at BKFC 66 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE globally on The BKFC App.
“Every win is an important accomplishment because nobody knows what tomorrow holds,” the 29-year-old Miami product says on the eve of his weekend bantamweight showdown with Armando Rodriguez.
“I cherish every victory along the way, but my goal is to be BKFC World Champion, so the job definitely isn’t finished.”
Labon made his Squared Circle debut at the inaugural BKFC Prospect Series event last August. Now, he’s ready to transition from prospect to contender.
“With this win, I’m going to put the division on notice as one of the top, up-and-coming fighters who’s going to lead the next generation of BKFC Champions,” he says.
“This fight is extremely important to me.”
