Jimmie Rivera looks to capitalize on BKFC's "nonstop growth" in BKFC 61 Main Event

Saturday’s KnuckleMania 4 in Los Angeles was the biggest event in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship history.

No BKFC event has had more fans in attendance nor streamed to nearly as many households around the globe as Saturday’s hugely anticipated California debut at the iconic Peacock Theater. And that’s to say nothing of the event’s record numbers of impressions and engagement on social media.

Millions of new eyes are on the Squared Circle, and perhaps nobody is more excited about that fact than Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera, who headlines BKFC 61 on May 11 at the legendary Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT.

“BKFC just keeps growing – nonstop growth,” Rivera says.

“It’s really amazing to see, and be a part of. I know there are going to be a lot of new eyes on the product after Saturday’s event, so this is a massive opportunity.”

The bustling BKFC featherweight division is arguably the most stacked weight class in the organization. The BKFC World Champion of the division, Kai Stewart (5-0), defends his belt next against Bryan Duran (6-0) in the Main Event of BKFC 62 on June 21 in Hollywood, FL, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App. Rivera hopes a big victory over Daniel Straus in Connecticut will score him the next shot at the belt.

Rivera balances fighting with fatherhood, his job as a police officer and his life as a business owner. He’s gracious with his time, but we wanted to keep it short and sweet, so we asked a simple true-or-false question.

Will Rivera hold the belt in 2024?

“True,” he says. “That’s definitely true.”
