Ramiro Figueroa introduced himself to BKFC fans in style on Friday.

The 22-year-old Denver lightweight looked spectacular in his BKFC debut, taking out Brett Hudson via second-round TKO at the sold-out National Western Center in Denver.

Figueroa is new to BKFC, but he’s been boxing for more than half a decade. He first tried his hand at the sport as a way to stay out of trouble. He was a natural and more than happy to invest more and more time into his training.

“I’d catch the bus to training until I was old enough to start driving,” Figueroa recalls with a smile.

“I fell in love with the sport, so I just wanted to keep getting better.”

Now, Figueroa is head over heels for BKFC – and he has big goals with the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion.

“I ain’t fighting just for the hell of it, you know? I know where my skill set is at, so I know I have what it takes to be a BKFC World Champion.”
