Charisa Sigala answers when opportunity knocks.
She was thrilled when BKFC Matchmaker Nate Shook offered her a bare knuckle fight at an upcoming RIZIN event in Japan.
“It was a no-brainer,” the personable Sigala says with a laugh.
RIZIN is the leading MMA promotion in Asia. The legendary combat sports brand recently partnered with BKFC, the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion, to begin hosting bare knuckle fights in Japan.
Sigala will take on fellow fan-favorite Tai Emery at Super RIZIN 3 on July 28 at the iconic Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
“I love being a part of history,” Sigala says.
“Japan is a mecca of martial arts. They have such a rich culture and interesting history, so it’s going to be amazing to be there and see it in person.”
What should the 40,000 fans in attendance at Saitama Super Arena expect?
“Lots of blood and violence,” she says, laughing. “Nothing but excitement from start to finish.”
